1. What type of water should I use? Tap, spring, or distilled water?
Tap water: easy to obtain, forms ice well, taste not the best. Spring water: taste good, easy to form scale, need to clean with a solution more frequently. Distilled water: makes clearer ice, more difficult to form ice due to less air in the water.
2. Does the ice maker keep the ice? Could I leave them in the basket after they are formed?
The ice maker is not intended for keeping the ice cubes it made. It can keep the ice cubes solid for a period of time though. Better enjoy fresh ice cubes once they are formed or freeze them in a zip bag and leave them in the fridge.
3. My ice cubes are sticking together, what should I do?
Turn the power off and let the ice melt and drop itself.
4. Why is the “ICE FULL” indicator not on when the ice basket is full?
There are two situations you may have. One is the ICE FULL sensor failed, and you need to contact cosumer service. The other is that infrared detection is affected by solid light, and you need to set the machine away from direct sunlight.
5. Why is the “ADD WATER” indicator on despite a full tank?
The conductivity of the water you used is too low. Do not use ultrapure water or distilled water.
