This certification confirms that Winix Australia air purifiers capture 99.97% (minimum efficiency) of tiny airborne particles (as small as 0.3 microns) such as pet dander, dust, dust-mites, mould, smoke, viruses, bacteria and other allergens commonly found in the home. This is the industry standard that defines whether an air purifier is suitable for use in hospital environments and medical applications including; clean-rooms, pharmaceutical manufacturing and any environment where clean/sterile conditions are required.
